“are red coats the newest fad? everyone i see has a red coat. if this is true, id like to see an increase in small child-eating wolves. im just saying.”

l always wondered what they did with these recordings..

glimpse into my childhood: my mother screaming at at&t. no, really.

“i’ve been a customer for years!! why are you treating me like this??!!”

“ma’am, a tower’s down. its not you.”

“discounts! refunds! now!”

i thought that was bad. until i read: Emails from Crazy People. These people make me damning comcast to hell seem sane. that’s a feat. new found respect for customer service peeps? nope, it’s just giving me ideas.

To that same account, THE CUSTOMER IS NOT ALWAYS RIGHT. apparently.

More alike that you thought

Aaron Karo, it’s like we have one mind. “Ruminations” has thoughts and notions that everyone has thought at one point, but never realized that you weren’t alone. Until now.

Ruminations for all walks of life:

For the office:

When I make a to-do list, I usually add a few things that I’ve already done so I can cross them off and immediately feel more productive.

For College:

The best feeling in the world is worrying that your paper is too short, and then realizing you haven’t double-spaced it yet

Answering the same letter three times or more in a row on a Scantron test is absolutely petrifying.

For Travels:

I wish Google Maps had an “Avoid Ghetto” routing option.

For everyday:

There is a great need for sarcasm font.

For the Just-In-Case:

I think part of a best friend’s job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.

Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, LinkedIn (or LinkedOUT, as my father likes ot say), have not only infiltrated our culture.. they have become their own verbs. 20 comics to put it in perspective. small taste below:

facebook_diplomacywhat would diplomacy be without social networking?

no-blogging-pleasegenerational gap and digital divide. any more alliterative ways to convey the lack of connectivity? i bet..
